Changing Password

When you register for an Auction account, a system-generated password is sent to the email address you provided. Through the MEMBER SERVICES area, you may change your password at any time.

Guidelines

  • Do not share your password with others.
  • If you suspect that someone else has access to your Auction account, change your password immediately, then notify the Auction Administrator.
  • For greater security, choose a password of at least six characters, using both letters and numbers.
  • Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess. Avoid using your children’s names, your birthdate, or other commonly known personal details.

Steps

  1. Locate the MEMBER SERVICES link near the top of each Auction page and click on it.
  2. From the MEMBER SERVICES menu, click on the Change Registration Info link.
  3. On the Change Registration Info page, enter your current username and password, and then click on the Change Registration button.
  4. On the Change Address and/or Password page, enter your new password in both of the new password fields, and then click on the Change Registration button.
    Result: A password change confirmation message appears.
    Note: Leave all other fields unchanged unless you need to make corrections to other account fields.
